Our Commitment to Sustainability and Social Responsibility

In line with our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, respect for human rights and business ethics, Maflon S.p.A, participated for the first time in the corporate sustainability assessment conducted by EcoVadis, the global standard for sustainability ratings. This rigorous assessment analyzes 21 sustainability criteria divided into four key areas: Environment, Labor Practices and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

We are proud to announce that, in our first assessment completed on August 28, 2024, we obtained an overall score of 65/100, this earning the bronze medal. This result reflects our commitment to continuously improve our business practices in all key areas of sustainability.

Strengths and Areas for Improvement

In the field of the environment, we have achieved significant results thanks to our environmental policy on materials, chemicals and waste, and actions to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. However, we recognize that there is still room for improvement.

In terms of labor practices and human rights, we have demonstrated a strong commitment to employee health and safety policies, as well as measures taken for their training and professional development. In this area too, we continue to aim for constant improvement.

Our Future Commitment

This first result represents an important starting point for Maflon. We will continue to work with dedication to improve our sustainability practices, aiming to achieve even more ambitious goals in future assessments.
